100 Gives 100

Home is something we all understand: a place where we can laugh, cry, and be ourselves with the people who love us the most. Home is a stable place where we can deal with the ups and downs of daily life. You can help families of low-income have a home by becoming one of the 100 giving $100.

We Made It!

We've reached 100 people giving $100 each month! Thank you for giving hope by making a dignified, stable home possible for families of low income.

Not one of the 100? We still need you! Life is a fluid thing and donors are occasionally unable to fulfill their commitment. Help us stay at or above 100. We'll keep you up to date as our needs change. Thank you for being on this journey with us.

How 100 Gives 100 Works

100 people each giving $100 a month allows Urban Homeworks to offer all of its rental apartments available to households making as little as $10 per hour without the need of a government subsidy. Your contribution helps provide a stable housing foundation, greatly improving each family’s ability to thrive.

What Support Means for Low-Income Families

The standard we follow recommends that tenants make three times the rental rate (or pay no more than 33% of their total income to rent). That means that the families on the waiting list need to find rent for as little as $275–$350 per month (almost impossible) for them to afford a home and still provide for their household. But Urban Homeworks has units that rent for as little as $530 for a 3-bedroom home. 100 Gives 100, combined with recent project funding, allows Urban Homeworks to meet more of the rental needs of our families with very low-income.
