Partner with Us

strong and growing Partnerships with other organizations are essential to our DEEp-reaching, collective work. Through our work with local professionals, training and community partner organizations, we are more effective in reweaving the fabric of communities.

Contractors (“Local Pros”)

Urban Homeworks supports businesses and families living in the neighborhoods where we are developing real estate by hiring local, minority and women-owned subcontractors. More info

Construction Training

Through dynamic partnerships with local training organizations, Urban Homeworks equips women, men and youth with the skills needed for employment in the construction industry. Using our sites as a classroom, skilled trainers take participants through a training program that teaches them the basics of construction such as tool usage, construction techniques, theory and basic job skills. Community Partners

Churches make up a significant percentage of our volunteer base, and are essential to our work. Some churches have partnered by “adopting” Urban Neighbor rental units to fill with members of their congregations and by engaging in long-term, consistent relationships that transform their members.
